Football Records Fall

November 4, 2017

The Warriors dominated every phase of the football game in route to a 50 point first half lead and a 57-13 victory over Logos Prep. The victory clinched a division title for the Warriors, their first since 2011. A victory over Northland Christian on Senior Night and they will close out an undefeated district championship.

Several records fell in the victory and more will probably fall this season as the high powered offense continues to roll along. Joseph Carbone set the career receiving record as a junior with 1,364 yards on 70 catches. He is just 30 catches away from the record for career catches. Josh Holl threw five touchdown passes on just 10 attempts to become the first player in school history to throw more than four touchdown passes in a game. Holl has already eclipsed the record for passing TD's in a season, and at 38 is just six away from tying the career record.

Jackson Landrum turned in the longest punt at 63 yards. Christian Fleischhauer has 19 touchdowns on the season, and with one more will tie the season scoring record of 120 points.

The Warriors will host Northland Christian on Friday at 7 p.m. for Senior Night. Senior football players will be honored at halftime. The playoffs will start on November 17 with the Warriors hosting a first round playoff game.
